We invented this tube game. 5 Generations Deep on Clear Creek now and going strong. Yep that was us.

Great, great, great grandma was the first woman in the Colorado Territory to brave Cannonball Creek on a wagon wheel.

Her daughter toured with the Buffalo Bill Wild West Show where she learned to tan, stitch and inflate bison bladders for creeks and streams of the West.

As a door to door tube salesman her son in turn had the opportunity to introduce Thomas Edison to vulcanized rubber and the joys of river tubing.

He then went on to lead the Civilian Conservation Corps. construction of the Flatirons in 1931- A major public works project diverting water to both Boulder Creek and Clear Creek.

Which allowed he and his twin sons to open the first public tubing operation in 1936.

The 50’s saw the introduction of the twins first tube shuttle- a major innovation of the day.

1967 Summer of Love. And the first Tube Safaris out west.
